בשנת 1983 הקימו שלושת האחים לבית סנדרוני את המרכז לאמנות ארמנית בעיר העתיקה שמטרתו הייתה לקדם את המלאכות והאומנות הארמנית. במשך הזמן פנו גם לייצור ועיטור כלים ואריחים. בראשית שנות האלפיים יצאו האחים לדרך עצמאית. בני הזוג גרו וסוניה סנדרוני יוצרים ומציירים על מגוון תוצרי קרמיקה בסגנון ארמני מקורי.
In 1983 the three Sandrouni brothers established the Armenian Ceramic Center in the Old City of Jerusalem. The studio aimed to promote traditional Armenian arts and crafts, and with time, the brothers began to produce decorated tiles and tableware. In the early 2000s each brother set out on a new path. Garo Sandrouni and his wife Sonia opened their own studio where they produce and decorate a variety of ceramic products in their own original Armenian style.

עיטור הצלחת משלב בין דגם פסיפס הציפורים הירושלמי הקדום לבין אמנות הקרמיקה שמקורה באמנות החצר העות'מאנית באיזניק במאה ה-16 והמשכה ביצירתם של האמנים הארמנים בקוטחיה במאה ה-18 ובראשית המאה העשרים. שני חלקי היצירה מחברים את נתיב המשפחות בין קוטחיה לירושלים.
הצלחת הממוסגרת מחולקת לשני חלקים על ידי קו עקלתון שבו דגם פרחים פשוטים. בחציה האחד דגמי צבעונים ושושנים ובחציה השני מדליוני שריגים ובהם ציפורים. את פלטת הצבעים המסורתית החליפו האמנים בצבעי אדום עז, כחול וירוק.

The decoration on the plate combines the design of the ancient Jerusalem Birds Mosaic and the traditional ceramic art of the Ottoman court at Iznik in the 16th century and the continuation of the creativity of Armenian artists in Kutahya in the 18th century and at the beginning of the 20th century. The two parts of the work combine the route of the families from Kütahya to Jerusalem.
The framed plate is divided into two parts by a meandering line of simple flowers. In one half are tulips and roses and in the second medallions of vines containing birds. The artist has replaced the traditional pallete of colors by brilliant reds, blues and greens.

تدمج الرسومات الموجودة على الصحن بين نموذج فسيفساء العصافير القديم من القدس وبين فنّ الخزف الذي اشتغل به الأرمن في كوتاهية. في الوسط طاووس، رمز أرمنيّ ومسيحيّ قديم وهو يربط مسار العائلات الارمنية بين كوتاهية والقدس.
